Choosing a Surveyor

We are members of IIMS, the International Institute of Marine Surveying and abide by their code of ethics and rules of practice. This includes our independence, integrity and objectivity and avoiding prejudice and conflict of interest.

Wheather you use us or not, we recommend that you ask the surveyor for a Statement of Competency, before you contract their services.

We have no links with and are not associated with any Boat Yard, Marina, Yacht Sales, Repair Contractor, or Charter Company. We do have a good working relationship with all though.

Our surveys are accepted by all Insurance Companies and Financial Institutions. If you elect to use another surveyor, we recommend that you check with your insurer and confirm that the Surveying Company is acceptable to them.
